Simultaneous Downloads

With version 16, I never had a problem with simultaneous downloads; I often download 7 or 8 items at a time so I can view them later, in a location with horrible download speeds.  But version 18 limits simultaneous downloads to 4 at one time.  I regret getting version 18!  Is there a fix?

  1- To resolve this issue, you need to uninstall RealPlayer as described below:
  
  Please do not install RealPlayer at this stage, just follow this steps to remove RealPlayer and delete the application folders. You will install RealPlayer when you reach the line number 2.

  2- Restart your computer and install RealPlayer by clicking here: http://www.real.com/
  
  3- Try to download your videos.
