Videos will not play

A majority of my saved videos will no longer play. The video shows the first frame, and the 00:00 timestamp (out of how long the video lasts), but will not play. When I try hitting Pause, then play again, nothing happens. Also, I can advance the frame bar, and see a different frame, but the video won't play.

I've noticed this in the past few weeks, and can confirm the videos in question worked before (some are older, and some recently downloaded).

I'm running the latest version of the software. My PC is getting a little old, but there's been no problems in the past with this.

Please help.

  I'm also having this problem after the recent "update". What's the solution?
