.ram file will not play

I found an old .ram file from an old version of a website on the webarchives wayback machine. the file is bits1020.ram but whenever I try to open it there is no video and it goes straight into a queue. If the file downloads but nothing plays and it does not even have a time length to it, whats the problem?

  A RAM file is actually a text file that contains information (such as a URL) that directs RealPlayer to the actual location of a music or video clip on the Internet.
