I had purchased Real Player 18 plus on the 29^th of January, 2019. Over the years some features were gradually and consistently reduced; like video quality and speed. Today, while viewing a video, I received a popup from Real Times, offering an update, so I followed the instructions to implement the update. Consequently, my paid version was uninstalled and a free version was installed, which resulted in the following:

1. This free version of Real Player does not have the feature to download You Tube videos with the downloader using the URL.
2. It downloads videos, only using the download icon above the video on the internet.
3. When I click on the downloaded file, Pot Player pops up and tries unsuccessfully to play the video files.
4. When I right-click the files and use the option, "open with" Real Player, the files would not open.
5. Instead, I receive a message stating that Real Player needs to download new software to open the file.
6. The attempts result in another message stating that no NEW software updates are available.
7. The new downloaded files turn out to be SRT files
