RealPlayer 24 not downloading 4k YouTube videos
As the title says, RealPlayer 24 Downloader cannot see anything higher than 1080p on YouTube when downloading a video. I have the Plus subscription and it can download 4k videos elsewhere, but not on YouTube. Fix it.

We tested a few 4K videos and we were able to download them. Can you please share a sample URL of a 4K video you are unable to download?

I am having the same exact issue with RealPlayer 24 Downloader cannot see anything higher than 1080p on YouTube when downloading a video. This needs to be fixed. I am a paid plus member.

Attached is a screen shot of said video - you'll see that the YouTube settings wheel says it's on 4k, but the download options for RealPlayer 24 only go up to 1080p. Likewise, when using Smart Download at 8k or lower, it will download at 1080p.

Hey Real player what everyone is saying on here is correct,,,so dont try you BS hot fixes that never work,,,I have been down this road too many times with you guys ,,,,I have to usually have to fix it myself and then tell Real player how to fix it,,,IT sould not be this way!! The customer should not have to tell you how to fix your own software..!!!! So asking people to send screen shots and you telling them that you were able to download in 4k sure you can but NOT on youtube so stop trying to bs the cutomers on here because you are not dealing with a novice
1. REAL PLAYER WILL NOT DOWN LOAD YOUTUBE VIDEOS IN 4 K...VIMEO VIDEOS IT WILL DOWNLOAD IN 4K
2.REALPLAYER WILL NOT DOWLOAD (AGE RESTRICTED VIDEOS) WHEN IT ALWAYS USED TO (but this is a common glitch this happens every so often with your former software but its was usually fixed in a few days...Who the hell know know when it will be fixed with this new software and interface)
I dont just blame you because most companies I deal with always tries to make changes or upgrades to its software or tries to they always screw something up..
But these giltches should have been fixed by now because it was downloading youtube video s in 4k for about 2 days then it stopped...So Realplayer needs fix these is fast and quick because this is takinh too long

Upgraded version 22 to v.24. Suddenly downloading videos on page not possible anymore. I paid for both versions, so I have every right to follow others who asked 3 months ago to do something about it in demanding: Fix it !!! 14 October 2024, Gerry Helleman, France
