Downloading videos from youtube in the philippines

I have the paid version of realplayer 24 and have no issues in downloading from youtube but recently i was in the philippines and tried to download a few videos from youtube it goes through all the process in waiting to download the begins the download then comes up unable to download, would this be an issue with my internet provider while in the philippines, since coming back home in the uk my realplayer is all fine again now and able to download the videos i tried to in the philippines any suggestions to this issue would be much appreciated thanks
