Installing RealTimes
How do I install RealTimes on my computer and mobile devices?
On your PC
Go to http://uk.real.com/getapps.html, scroll down below the photo, and click the Windows icon.
- If you are using Internet Explorer or Edge: This should prompt you with Run or Save. If you run the file, the setup begins automatically. If you save it, it will be saved to your hard drive, and then you can run it later.
- If you are using Firefox: This should prompt you with Save File or Cancel. Click Save File, then click the icon on your desktop to run the installer.
- If you are using Google Chrome: A "RealTimes-RealPlayer.exe" button should appear in the bottom left corner of your browser window. Click it to start the installation process.
After installing the program, you will be prompted to create an account or sign in. If you have a paid subscription, signing in will unlock the additional features. Signing in is also necessary for viewing your photos and videos across all devices on which you have downloaded the app.
On your Mac
Click here to install RealPlayer Cloud for Mac. (RealTimes is not yet available for Mac, but it's coming soon!)
On your Android or iOS device
Open the Google Play or iTunes store on your device and search for "RealTimes", then install as you would any other app. You will then be prompted to create an account or sign in. If you have a paid subscription, signing in will unlock the additional features. Signing in is also necessary for viewing your photos and videos across all devices on which you have downloaded the app.
Note: You will also be prompted to turn on Auto-backup; turning this on will automatically backup all the photos and videos on your camera roll and store them in RealCloud (you also get an extra 5GB of free RealCloud storage space if you enable this option).
Other devices
RealTimes is available on Roku.
Amazon's Kindle Fire and Fire TV, Xbox One, and Windows 8 tablets are not yet compatible with RealTimes, but you can use the previous version, RealPlayer Cloud, on these devices and share videos between these devices and other devices that are running RealTimes.
