I have RealPlayer Plus, but when I try to download a video, the acceleration by Speedbit isn't working. Why not?
We are no longer distributing Speedbit video accelerator with any installations of RealPlayer Plus. Our contract with Speedbit has expired and we no longer have the rights to distribute it.
In our current version, RealTimes, we have updated our video downloader to increase the speed of downloads from most popular video sites, so Speedbit is no longer necessary. If you are using an older version of RealPlayer, simply uninstall it and install our latest version of RealTimes (available at www.real.com for Windows 7 and higher).
Then, watch a quick demo of our downloader available Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft's new Edge browser. If you use Internet Explorer to download videos, you can use the "Download from a web link" option to speed up your downloads (read more here).
Vista & XP Users – Unfortunately, RealTimes is not compatible with your operating system, and we are no longer making updates to RealPlayer 16 or earlier versions.
