Realplayer won't play .qt files?

Has RealPlayer removed .qt file support?  Apple QuickTime for Windows is dead, I had hoped RealPlayer would be able to play my small library of .qt files, but it won't - it opens up and shows the .qt file as "currently playing" but nothing ever happens, blank screen, play / pause button does nothing.  

How do I play .qt files on RealPlayer?

  I see some other posts on RealPlayer not working on Windows 10 due to recent updates from Msoft, so thought I'd mention this is on Windows 7 pro 64-bit, if that matters.

  Rats.  So quicktime files are dead.  Sad.  Good thing they weren't anything important.
