To resolve your issue, please "over-install" RealPlayer by going to www.real.com. Over-install simply means installing RealPlayer over the existing RealPlayer. When you go through the installation process, you will be prompted that RealPlayer is already installed, simply proceed with the installation when prompted.

I did download RealPlayer to my Desktop but did not install it as I am worried that it is the Free version and I had made a one-time purchase of the Plus Version in 2016. I don't know if the download is the same for all plans and if the Plus version will become active when I sign in to the new installation. I first purchased RealPlayer in 2007 and thought it was a wonderful way to keep a permanent file of video information at your fingertips. I wrote an article extolling its virtues in the Jan.2015 "Nugget" for the North MS Gem & Mineral Society. Thank you for your help. I hope we can get this solved.

Our system shows that your last purchase was RealPlayer 16 under the email ofkbk@comcast.net.

Please note that, older versions are not available in our system, and we are no longer supporting RealPlayer 16 and any version before that.

As RealNetworks makes new products available to customers, it's not possible for us to continue supporting older products.

We are now offering RealPlayer v.20/20. This is the latest version of RealPlayer with many additional features. To access the Premium features of RealPlayer v.20/20 will require a new purchase, because this is a new product. However, since you purchased RealPlayer before, we would like to offer you a 50% discount to purchase the latest version.

And to benefit from this special offer, please, click on the link below:

Although I had purchased RealPlayer Pro Ver16.0.3.51 on 1/19/2016, at some point, my one-time purchase became a subscription without my knowledge or consent. When I called RealPlayer concerning that problem, I was given the option to keep my program without the subscription. According to my records, my computer was reset and RealPlayer was reinstalled on 8/11/16. Since that time, I have updated whenever prompted: by 3/8/18, I had updated to Ver 18.1.11.204 with auto sign-in; 6/19/18, Ver.18.1.12.206; 7/11/18, reinstalled after the purchase of new hard drive. I have only updated RealPlayer Pro, never upgraded without a deliberate purchase, and only to own the program, not subscribe. The last update led me to 2020, and I found myself signed out of RealPlayer Pro and unable to sign back into the program. So, I had already been using Version 18 for over 2 years when I was updated to Version 20. I hope you can find this post, because this was the only place I could find that would let me write. Thank you for all of your help, time and attention to my problem.

I purchased the premium and installed the program.  When I try to sign in nothing happens.  I do not get any errors, simply nothing happens.  I over installed and the it continues to do the same.  How can I resolve this.
