With regards to the inability to download videos, we were able to identify the root cause and our engineering team was able to resolve it. To be able to download videos again, please follow these steps.

    1. Attempt to download any video of your choice (You will still have the same error).
    2. Simply restart your computer after this.
    3. Upon restarting your computer, the Downloader will be updated in the backend and your downloads should start working.

If the issue still persists, please let us know.

You are not alone.  Multiple posts on another thread reported the same issue before it was closed to more comments.  Maybe someone from Realplayer will give us a status update soon.

I received your email saying you had fixed the problem.  However, while I can now download videos on my laptop, I still cannot download on my PC.  How can that be?

I've had Downloader Express for a few years and now, I am unable to download videos from YouTube and Dailymotion on my Laptop/PC. This concern has been going on for 3 days. I get this message when attempting to download a video: "No Videos Found At That Web Address."

    • I uninstalled real player and reinstalled it per the instructions on your Help Page: Support>RealPlayerPC>Older Versions>English.
    • The problem remains the same when attempting to download a video From YouTube and Dailymotion: "No Videos Found At That Web Address."
    • I uninstalled Real Player and installed Real Player 22 and this works (however, this is a free version and it takes forever for videos to download that's why I paid for "Downloader Express" for the speed and to download multiple videos at the same time.)
    • Real Player 22 is able to locate the web address and I am able to download videos from YouTube and Dailymotion.
    • I uninstalled Real Player 22 and reinstalled my older version of Real Player. I believe it is version 18 or whichever your Help Page provides a download link to.
    • I was able to download one video from YouTube with my original Real Player (older) version like I did three days ago and prior, before this problem arose.
    • I thought the problem was fixed but I haven't been able to download videos again. I received the same message: "No Videos Found At That Web Address" when I attempted to download (multiple and) different videos from YouTube and Dailymotion.

What is the fix, the solution?

Don't let anyone tell you that this is being blocked by YouTube, as there are other downloaders out there that are working still, I just verified.  I like the Realplayer downloader, it's the main reason I'm a paying customer.  But unless this is resolved, or at least we get a recognition that they know they have a problem and are working on it, then I won't be sending any more funds their way.  Hoping to hear something soon.

It was not blocked by YT, but YT changed something, bc the problem was with YT only.
No pb with IG, FB or the other sites I have checked.

However I agree other downloaders did not have the pb. Real have something to do to be better than other solutions.
Also there are many sites it is still impossible to download videos from, whatever the product you use for this.

As I was reading sb had the problem with DailyMotion, I wanted to check that.
    It worked.
But at the same time I was notified by the extension a YT video was ready to download!
So I undertook the download... and it worked.

So on my side, the problem is now fixed, I can download YT (and DM) videos.

I really enjoy Real's reactivity, as the problem only took place during the weekend.
So to Real's men and women, thank you very much.

However, I am aware they still have some work to do as some other downloaders did not have the problem, and as there still have many sites no solution can download any video from (thus including Real Downloader).

You got lucky Francis! My YT still isn't downloading. Real Player, this program is important to me. I use it for church videos for the kids and I need to download some videos for Wednesday. Please resolve the problem so we can all start using your program again. Thank you!

    Hello Amanda,

    Well maybe I am lucky...

In fact yesterday I did as Real told to do as they had sent me a message saying they had fixed the problem.
So try to download, then restart my PC and try again.
    But it did not work.

So I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it from the executable file provided on the Real web site, RealPlayer_fr.exe, version 9.8.0.3, 1126784 bytes.
But it did not work either.

And today in the evening, suddenly, the orange notification popup appeared as I was going to check whether it was working on DailyMotion.
Because I made the checks for InstaGram, FaceBook and others, and they all worked, but I hadn't checked for DailyMotion.
I could check so it was working for DailyMotion, but also that it was working again for YT.

So it works for me, but it was not as easy as they told, and it started working again several hours after my last trials, reinstallation and reboot.

    Hope this helps,

PS: How many videos are you talking about? Depending on their number or size, there can be an alternative temporary solution.

If the bellow instructions were followed correctly, the version should be 2023.2.17.0.

    1. Attempt to download any video of your choice (You will still have the same error).
    2. Simply restart your computer after this.
    3. Upon restarting your computer, the Downloader will be updated in the backend and your downloads should start working.

Please check your version after this. You can go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer. Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab. The version number is found here.

If the number has not changed and still shows 2022.10.6.0, it means Windows is blocking the update.

Please note: These instructions won't work for older versions such as RealPlayer v.18 or older. Versions 18 or earlier have reached end of life support.
