WON'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING, CRASHES PC!

    I am fed up with real player, I paid for upgrade many of years ago, every now and then the download option goes thru the process attempting to download a video and after it finishes it says unable to download.  I ask real player for help and all they answer is to check updates, my real player says I don't need any updates.  I go back and tell real player and they don't respond. 

    Why won't real player respond to my request for help?

    Can you please let us know the following information:

    Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
    Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

    Please provide us with the version number you see there.

    Could you also provide us with a sample URL that you are unable to download and the web browser you are using? Lastly, what version of RealPlayer and Windows have you installed?

    Please note: RealPlayer v.18 has reached End of Life support. We will not be fixing that version anymore.
