This problem affects lower quality videos, usually those in 480HD.

As you download them using Real Downloader, check the video quality on the right side of the download box. If it is 480 it is likely to go b/w and diagonal. Any videos with higher quality, for example, 720 or above will be fine to burn without issue.

If you have a 480 video quality video you want to burn, then convert it to WMV using Real Converter. (Right click on your video, select EDIT, then select CONVERT, and then choose WMV in the 'convert to' box).

Burn the converted video to DVD, and it will be full colour and normal.

I have converted videos to WMV and I haven't had slanted videos since. That said, depending on the size, it can take a long time to convert the  files to WMV.

I agree, it does take time to convert it to WMV, but at least it works, and you can burn the video without it being b/w and slanted, which is better than nothing, until Real Player fix the problem.

Most definitely. And again, I thank you for posting your solution. I just wanted to let others know that depending on the size and quality of the clip, it can sometimes take a while. For instance, I just converted a 45 minute program to WMV and it took 65 minutes.
