RealDownloader cannot download or record this video format
After the last update this message now appears after several second of waiting for the download to start. No clear understanding of what format it has found that it will not download, no clear understanding of what format are supported. This started after the last update and I really like downloading and analyzing video with Realplayer & VLC. The site that has the video can play the video so somebody has the Codex and can trans code, and here I thought you guys where the best.
Please advise...

Michael,
First, please make sure you have the Downloader plugins enabled. Here are instructions to enable the plugins in Internet Explorer.
https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/206030987-Using-Download-This-Video-in-Internet-Explorer
If the plugins are enabled and you are still not able to download a video, please use an alternate browser like Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
If nothing works, please let us know. We will take it offline.

Okay, I'm familiar with this KB but just in case I double checked and I'm in compliance with all request in the KB. This is not an issue with the button. I believe there is a new codex that allows for up loading larger files sizes as we are in a gig world and DOCSIS 3.1 has arrived. I believe downloader does not have the supporting transcodex to support the download; (mp4) has good quality but is getting long on tooth and has issue with larger file sizes. Without a developer(s) understanding of (unsupported download format) I can not clearly handle the error msg being generic a more concise meaning is needed. I am clear with going offline to debug please advise.

Michael,
Can you use an alternate browser and let us know if you are able to download videos?

Yes, I tried Google Chrome and still the same thing no download. How about the part where you tell me you have tried to download and the what happened, No? Someone has the transcodec because the site can play the video. Again, I had downloader at the top of the food chain. I guess Darwin was right little fish can't eat big fish.
