fast forward

if I'm watching a video at regular speed, there are times when I want to watch the playback at faster speed and I am unable to do this as i had on the previous version.

i am unable to fast forward during playback.

Can you please describe if you are playing a video stored in your RealPlayer library or from a DVD?

In addition, can you please let us know which version of RealPlayer is installed?

I am watching DVD's.

I had a previous version that was working fine but upgraded to the newest version and now can't watch the movie while FF, as I had done previously.

We have identified this issue. We have escalated it to our engineering department. They are looking into it and would be fixed in a future release.
