  Let's face it.  Real player was mainly used to download Adult video's.  With Adult sites now stripping their Video's for such downloads, Real player now subsequently lags behind.  Other download Sites still manage to stay ahead somewhat.  But if Real player wants to stay well ahead with paying subscriptions, then it should have a facility for automatic and simple URL paste on's to immediately download ANY video into your own personal computer - later to be replayed Video file.

  Can you please let us know the following information:

  1. Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
  2. Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

  Please provide us with the version number you see there.

  Could you also provide us with a sample URL that you are trying to download?
