DVD will not run

I recently the Real Player upgrade, and watched a DVD last night. When I opened RealPlayer this morning and inserted a DVD, it would not play. Am I missing something? BTW. You guys are almost impossible to contact.

  I just downloaded real player.    It appears that I cannot watch a DVD if I am not connected to the internet.   What am I missing.

  Please make sure you are signed into RealPlayer to activate your Plus features. If you are signed in, can you please let us know what happens when you try to play a DVD?
