will not open i got a new computer and installed real player 16 on it but it will not open it says real player has stopped working and will now close i payed for this program and i want it to work.

I suggest you to perform a clean uninstall (alone) of RealPlayer by following the below article:

Then, reinstall RealPlayer 16 by clicking the below link:
http://cache-download.real.com/free/support/win/RealPlayer16.exe
Note: Try disabling the Antivirus/Security program(if any)while uninstalling and reinstalling the RealPlayer.

as you know i have real player 16 the link you sent me to is not for 16 so how do i get my pass word i used this program all the time a payed good money for it it is your job to give support for the programs you sale so help me get my pass word back i used the same pass word for real player 16 and for this web page so why don't it work?

why would i pay you for a up grade when you are not helping me with the one i payed for to start with? i payed money for the 15 plus.and need help with it if you are not going to help me with my pass word then i will do a way with your program and go to a free program you should know there is a lot of them out there it is up to you how we handle this.
