Real Player SP Plus
I am not impressed with Real networks. I have been a loyal paid customer and have been using Real Player with premium features for many years. Just recently my premium features stopped working and when I tried to sign in with my registered email address and password it appears to have been deleted. Really poor customers service. Absolutely no way to contact support. I paid for the premium features on Real player and I expect to have them restored. I have my original account number and copies of emails from support in the past. Please have support contact me. Thanks

As RealNetworks makes new products available to customers, it is not possible to continue supporting legacy and historic products, including:
- RealPlayer 15, 14, SP and 11 (for Windows), 10.5 and 10 (Windows and Mac)No email or phone support is available for these products. Product development has stopped, and no updates or security patches will be released for these product versions.
Many problems you might have using these older products can be resolved by upgrading to a current version, as long as your computer meets the current version's system requirements.0 -
What a bunch of nonsense. Premium services that I paid for should not be dependent on having to sign on to Real Networks. The premium features once paid for should be permanent and not having to connect with your network server. This is just an attempt to trick customers with older versions that are working fine to upgrade to your newer versions for an additional cost. My Real Player Plus was working fine until Real Networks deleted my original registered account which prevents me from accessing the premium services I paid for. I did not change anything on my registration and did not require support other than my account being deleted. Very poor customer relations. I'm sure Real has alienated many long time customers with this latest trick.

I also think that Real has a legal obligation to provide the premium services that were paid for.There was nothing wrong with the player I am using other than not being able to sign in to access my premium services that I paid for I'm quite sure that there are many other customers that are feeling the same as me. We should consider a class action against Real to provide us with the premium features we paid for.
