Often when I record a video using Real Player I get "A General Error has occurred" Of course the video does not play. Is there any way these videos can be salvaged or should they just be deleted?

  You are receiving this error if the file format is not compatible with RealPlayer. You may have to convert them to MP4. However, if it fails to convert also, it is not a file format that is compatible with RealPlayer.
