unable to download audio files

Recently, I have been unable to download youtube videos as mp3s. Whenever Realplayer would attempt to process the download it would give me an error saying "unable to download." I've tried updating the application, uninstalling and reinstalling realplayer, restarting my pc, checking to see if my browser was updated (which it was), checking to see if my pc was updated (which it was), and restarting realplayer multiple times. 

The browser that I am currently using is Google Chrome. Current Realplayer version is 24.0.4.303. My PC is a Windows 11 x64.

  cant download anything , keeps saying unable to download MP3 OR MP4  , AND I PAID FOR IT

  I can't download either. I updated software, rebooted and nothing. It says waiting to download  and never does or unable to download.

  Good morning,

  i have the same issue ... and the problem was update of RealDownloader BUT the issue was in "user profile" not in install.

  To solve i delete "C:\Users\Internet1\AppData\Local\Real" in my user (internet1). 
  Warning i don't have anything i want save but i's good idea rename folder for save it (for example add .bak).
  Then do update from my user.
  Note, do this procedure for each user using RealDownloader
