Unable to download from Youtube

No icon to download, or when there is, unable to download. Realplayer asked me to sign in to youtube when i already have done.

  Yeah, that can be pretty frustrating. A couple of things could be going on here.

  First, YouTube itself has tightened restrictions, so tools like RealPlayer don’t always work reliably with YouTube anymore. Even if you’re signed in, it may still fail to detect videos or show the download button.

  Try these quick fixes:

  • Make sure RealPlayer is fully updated
  • Log out and back into your YouTube account inside RealPlayer
  • Check your browser extension (if you’re using one) is enabled
  • Try a different browser to see if the download button appears
