As of 10/17/26 I have not been able to download youtube videos.
It's not only on 10/17/26. I have not been able to download Youtube vides for the last three weeks. When you click on the drop down menu, it starts spinning around and around. Then it say there is no media to download here. I would appreciate it if someone from tech support can address this issue. Thank you

Are you having trouble only with YouTube? Have you tried downloading from a non-YouTube website such as www.dailymotion.com? If not tested, please download any video from Dailymotion and let us know the outcome. We need to see if the problem is just YouTube blocking you or the Downloader conflicting with something else.

It's only youtube. I was trying to download Bill Mahar and got a message "video not available". So I tried to download other videos. All of them stated the same message. Nothing on my computer has changed.

If it is only YouTube, you probably have been temporarily blocked by YouTube. We have seen this happen from time to time for some users. Alternately, if you are using any VPN services, this can happen. While using VPN services, YouTube has always rejected downloads. So if you are using that, disconnect and try again. We don't control or manage YouTube so we have no idea why and when they do this. However, the good news is that this has been a temporary block only.
As a workaround, try connecting your computer to your Phone's hotspot and try to download a YouTube video. If you are able to download after connecting to your hotspot, then YouTube is probably blocking you from downloading videos through your Internet Service Provider. In that case, you could call them and ask them to provide you with a new IP address.
