Realplayer install problem windows 7
I just tried to update my realplayer today - and for the first time ever i had problem with it.
There is no sign of the program on my computer when i click on the realplayer icon.I have tried several times to install the program from this site and the install program downloads, I run it and it takes its sweet time supposedly downloading the data and then installing the realplayer and finishes saying install successful but when I click the button to launch the program, nothing happens and there is no sign in of Realplayer anywhere on the computer.
I have also run MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta and restarted my pc and then download the software again but same problem. I have run it with administrator rights but nothing. I have SP1 and my system is updated.
When I run the alternative installer (one that is 63 MB) I get an error at 8% of the installation process: "unable to execute removepluginhandlerdata command". I have tried searching the web but I can't find anything and many answers here end it with "Answer to the email we sent you and we will go from there".
Could you help me fix this problem please?
