Unable to format my storage space

I want to clear out my storage of 35gig full and place some updated media inside the area but each time I try to delete. It gives me the message "that did not delete, please try again". I retried it several more times and gives me same message. Any solution to this?

  Donald,

I've sent an email to you. We'll take it from there.
