Help with playing Downloaded Videos on a USB Plug in my BluRay/DVD Player
OK... hoping someone might be able to help me out... I've had Real Player and Downloaded Videos from YouTube for years...
I would copy them to a USB Plug, and plug it into my BluRay/DVD Player and watch them on my TV that way. I just got a new Computer, and now running Windows 11... I reinstalled Real Player, no problem...Downloaded Videos off of YouTube, no problem... copied the to a USB Plug, no problem... plugged it into my BR/DVD Player to watch them, PROBLEM.. it will not play any NEW Videos that I've downloaded with Real Player off of YouTube with the new Computer... I get a "The file is corrupt or unsupported" message on the screen. It will still play older videos that I downloaded on the Old Computer Set-Up, but not the new computer. I can't figure this out at all... I looked at Properties for and Older Video I downloaded, and a Newer Video I Downloaded, and there is no difference in them... both MP4... the USB Plug is formatted to FAT32...
I can't figure this out... can anybody offer any help or ideas ? it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike

I'm commenting on my own Post here but... a little update... I woke up today thinking this has to be something with the Real Player, so I was reading some Posts in the Community here, and saw a few things that stood out to me... and I'm came up with the idea of, uninstalling RealPlayer 25, and reinstalling Real Player 24, which is probably what I always had, or something even older... BAM! Videos I Downloaded with RP24 play in my BluRay Player with a USB Plug again!!!
now, I'm only worried about what 's gonna happened if/when I do any Updates... is it gonna put me back to RP25? or just do any Updates to the RP24 i just installed?
If anybody can still offer any clarity on this, I'd be most happy to hear it
