Can't Upgrade

I currently have RealPlayer 18, and trying to upgrade. When I try to sign in, it tells me every time, that I am not connected, to reconnect, restart my computer.  I tried to create a new account and it tells me the email format is incorrect (it is NOT incorrect). Any support for this issue?  Thanks!

  To resolve your issue, please "over-install" RealPlayer by going to www.real.com. Over-install simply means installing RealPlayer over the existing RealPlayer. When you go through the installation process, you will be prompted that RealPlayer is already installed, simply proceed with the installation when prompted.
