RealPlayer freezes trying to play music or videos, tried everything suggested here

I did the steps for Most Reliable in hardware Video compatibility, recent install of video drivers and RealPlayer 18, just updated PLUS had it long ago version 15 or 16 got discount. Windows Media Player and VLC player work fine, not RealPlayer and I have reasons to use it now, want to have it as an option.
Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I really loved when I had RealPlayer 15/16 it was the best, the best Plus features for Real Downloader and Convertor I use most, these 2 applications are the reason I have RealPlayer today, but I grew up with RealPlayer in the 90's and used it to watch videos and listen to music more than once, I don't know why but back then I jumped around with Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, and Winamp.  Today I have recently retired Winamp and also use Windows Media Player less, I have moved on to VLC player, but nothing beats Real Downloader and Real Convertor, and I was excited with RealPlayer Plus 18 to try out it's video, CD/DVD, and other features, I'm sad I have this video playback issue on my PC, sorry for the rant, I hope you guys can help me out because your Downloader and Convertor are the best.

PS. Just updated my post again, it appears to freeze up loading mp3's and such also :-(

  If the issue persists, please try these fixes, too: System errors, faults, or freezes when using RealPlayer

  I tried everything in both things you linked, RealPlayer still stops responding when I open any music or video file.

  I would like to actually be able to open music and videos without RealPlayer stopping

  To help you further, please provide the following information:

  1- What is the format of the file you are trying to play?

  2- Do you have the same issue with all files or with particular files?

  3- Are the files located in RealPlayer's Library?

  4- What is your computer operating system?

  my videos only won't play in playlist

  William,

  Are you having issues playing these videos only from the playlist? Are you able to play them individually? What error message do you see when playing from the playlist?
