Realdownloader repeatedly fails

My version of RealDownloader is 20.10.6.0.  It is no longer working.  It did not appear in the "Other Software" list, when I clicked on Check for Update.   I have restarted RealDownloader - same result.  The dropdown is appearing, but when I tell it to download.  Using Windows 10.  download window does not appear.   This has failed several times.  Then it starts working.

  You have the latest version. What is the exact error message you get when you download the video?

  No error msg just does not work.

  We have noticed today (28th February, 2023) that certain websites have started to throttle the download speeds. We don't control how these websites control their content. However, our engineering team is looking into it.
