Like others my downloads slowed and stopped. One person listed a number of things to try. Really nothing worked, but there was a clue. Something about a problem between 32-bits and 64-bits. One of my sons had a problem with a non-working program that was caused by the difference between the speeds. Made me research more. A further check said Google Chrome worked on the 32- and 64-bit programs. I downloaded their browser and opened You Tube from their browser.  I have never had any video copied as fast as it did. I did look further, and the speed remains on You Tube and Facebook videos. Doing the happy dance.
