unable to burn dvds

I am unable to burn dvds.  I can download them but not burn them.  I keep getting "preparing to recode file", the red thing keeps going around, no seconds are showing. It doesn't progress. Can anybody help me?  What's the problem?

  Please follow these steps to resolve your issue.

  1. Install the latest version of RealPlayer.
  2. Convert your MP4 video that you are burning (that shows the error) to either MP4 again or WMV using RealConverter.
  3. Burn the converted video and let me know if you still see the error message.

  If the issue persists, please let us know.
