Hijacked by real player
I didnt even want this real player, windows media player works fine, I had a college reading that had a player link to listen to it instead of reading it, right away I noticed it was grabbiing everything and hijacking it and I didn't even make a default player , I immediately uninstalled it, but even after installation i go to open a pic and it now wants to know what program to use to open it. I am pretty pissed off to say the least. I want this pile of shit completely out of my computer.

It is impossible for any software to install without user's intervention. That said, what you are describing is a Windows prompt. Your media files (Audio, Video or photos) need a program to be associated with to open. If you are seeing a prompt asking which program you want to use, you will need to select the program of your choice that shows up in your list of available media players. Again, this is a Microsoft's (Windows) design and not RealPlayer's.
