RealPlayer 22 Plus download tab reports cannot download video on this page

I have encountered this issue awhile back, and followed the procedure to uninstall using the Realplayer uninstaller executable, which provided a successful uninstall. Then proceeded to shutdown the PC and re-boot.....Re-installed with file Realplayer (RealNetworks), file version 9.6.0.9 which was saved on my HDD on Sep-2022; The Realplayer software application installed successfully, version: 22.01.307, Distribution: T22ENGAR; Then opened Firefox web-browser to a Youtube video that I previously was successful to download, (a month or two ago);This time when I click-on the download tab, the tab reported 'Realplayer cannot download videos on this page'. Tried the uninstall, reinstall with no success... Please advise..Thx

Update - after entering the above details, I repeated the process of un-install the RealPlayer software applic. and shut-down the PC, followed by a startup/re-boot and re-install....then returned to Firefox browser opening a Youtube video podcast that I knew that I previously was capable to download, and this time the download button was working as expected, and completed a video download....I suspect that there might be an issue at times that a temporary file gets fouled up and that what creates that message, 'cannot download video on this page'.

  With regards to the inability to download videos, we were able to identify the root cause and our engineering team was able to resolve it. To be able to download videos again, please follow these steps.

  1. Attempt to download any video of your choice (You will still have the same error).
  2. Simply restart your computer.
  3. Upon restarting your computer, the Downloader will be updated in the backend and your downloads should start working.
   
  If the issue still persists, please let us know.
