CANNOT DOWNLOAD VIDEOS FROM YOUTUBE IT WORKED YESTERDAY BUT NOT TODAY

have tried to download video (mp4) from different web sites like CNN and I still cannot download any videos.  You need to bump this up to advanced technical support to resolve this issue.  I want to remind you that I was downloading all videos without any problems for the past couple of months before  August 2023.  Something happened/changed after August  22 to prevent the videos from downloading in the usual way from youtube using Real Player.  If this issue is not resolved I may be forced to cancel/discontinue the renewal of my Real Player Plus annual subscription.  Why would I want to pay 39.95/year for a service that doesn't work?

  Please follow these steps to resolve your issue.

  1.    Go to C:\ProgramData\Real\RealUpgrade.
  2.    Delete all the files found in this folder.
  3.    Restart your computer and click the Downloader button as you were downloading a video.
  4.    Now, the folder from the 1st step will be re-populated with similar files and one additional folder.
  5.    Restart your computer once more and you should be able to download videos again.

  If the issue still persists, can you please let us know the following information:

  Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
  Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

  Please provide us with the version number you see there.

  Could you also provide us with a sample URL that you are unable to download and the web browser you are using? Lastly, what version of RealPlayer and Windows have you installed?
