I regret to inform you that, after re-evaluating market trends, we have decided not to make the RealPlayer Cloud desktop player available on Windows XP or Vista. You can, however, access the website at https://realtimes.real.com where you can upload and share videos.

Note: As RealNetworks makes new products available to customers, it is not possible to continue supporting legacy and historic products, including: - RealPlayer 15, 14, SP and 11 (for Windows), 10.5 and 10 (Windows and Mac)

If you have any other computer with Windows 7 and higher (or Mac OS X 10.10 and higher) then you can download the most current version of RealPlayer with RealTimes from www.real.com

Viswanathan S, that is an unacceptable answer!  I had RealPlayer (not RealPlayer cloud) running on my Vista machine and, because I believed the RealPlayer web site that said RealPlayer 16 would run on my Vista machine, I lost the RealPlayer I had.  Your answer gave me no options and you didn't even bother to tell me why RealPlayer 16 won't install!

Since it was the RealPlayer web site that gave me the information that led to my losing RealPlayer, the least RealPlayer could do would be to restore the functionality I lost because of RealPlayer!  In other words, RealPlayer needs to find a way to get me some version of RealPlayer that will install on my Vista machine.  At this point, I don't care which version as long as it works.

In this case, I suggest that you perform a clean uninstall of RealPlayer by following the below article:

    https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/204040013

Make sure you delete the RealPlayer folders as mentioned in the below article, before reinstalling RealPlayer.

    https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/220342848

NOTE: Deleting these folders will remove any playlists you've created; the files will remain in your library but the playlists will need to be re-created.

Reboot your computer, then click the the below link to install RealPlayer 16.

As mentioned by my Colleague, RealNetworks makes new products available to customers, it is not possible to continue supporting legacy and historic products, including: - RealPlayer 15, 14, SP and 11 (for Windows), 10.5 and 10 (Windows and Mac). Product development has stopped, and no updates or security patches will be released for these product versions.

Many problems you might have using these older products can be resolved by upgrading to a current version, as long as your computer meets the current version's system requirements.
