Removing duplicate songs

I have about 9,000 duplicate songs.  Why, I don't know.  In trying to delete duplicates, it says access denied and wants me to click on "cancel" for every deletion.  I can't do this 9,000 times.

  Can you please send us a screenshot when it says "Access denied"? We've never seen such a message ever before.
