Realplayer downloader not working.
I've the paid version of Realplayer installed on my desktop PC running Windows 10. However, today the Real Downlkoader has ceased functioning. The pop-up window that should appear when clicking on the link symbol does not appear most of the time and when on rare occasions it does, the hour-glass symbol comes on and stays on despite not having typed in any URL. It is also impossible to type or paste an address into the box. (image 1)
I have checked under the properties (image 2) and tried running compatibility troubleshooter but it appears that there is no compatibility mode for Windows 10 in the drop-down list, as the image shows.
Can you please resolve this as I need to use the downloader regularly in connection with my office work.

I have the same problem. I upgraded to RealPlayer Express 24 a couple of weeks ago and the downloader does not work.

You don't have to use Compatibility mode. Can you confirm if you have issues download videos directly from a website by clicking the Downloader button that shows on the top of the browser?

I'm aware of the function of the Downloader button but Brave is my preferred browser and the function is not available for Brave as it is for Firefox, Chrome & Edge.

We don't support Brave browser. The downloader works only for Chrome, Firefox and Edge browsers.

When trying to download from Facebook my real player no longer wants to work, I uninstalled it and then re-installed it, but that did not help.
Your help is appreciated

When I try to download a music video from You Tube arrow drops down and message appears "Cannot download from this page" I have tried everything.

Delia,
We are aware of changes made in Facebook which has broken the ability to download Facebook videos. Our engineering team is looking into it.

Jo,
Are you able to download this video?

If you are able to download this video, we feel YouTube is blocking certain users from downloading their videos. As a workaround, you can contact your ISP and ask them to provide you with a new IP address. Once you get a new IP address from your ISP, YouTube will detect this new IP address and think that you are a new user and shouldn't block you.0
