Error code CERT_AUTH-FAILED
Hi,
Since, my Real Player Plus has updated recently (Jan 1, 2025), it has been giving this error code "CERT_AUTH_FAILED" every time I try to download something.
It is also giving this message "The software update 'ProducerSDK for RealAudio Lossless could not be verified as authentic. Please check your computer clock to ensure the time and date are set correctly and try your download again".
I have tried everything several times. It is so frustrating. I would appreciate if someone could help me out.
Thank you.

I just started having the same issue exactly. I even went so far as to uninstall and reinstall the software. It has made no difference, I still get the same error
Looking forward to someone helping us further. I've had real player since the old arcade days and I really have gotten use to this product.
Getting hold of technical support must no longer exist. Wondering if the last update was corrupt or had the bug. Still having same problem after everything I've tried.
Has anyone tried another player that can do the same things RealPlayer does? Tired of paying for these new versions ($24.99) and then can't use the features until all the kinks get worked out...ugh
WOW....NO HELP YET????????? Why can't we actually get hold of SUPPORT?

I am also getting the exact same issue so must be either corrupt files at source or a bug in the update, hope this gets sorted out soon!

Same here as well. Updated to the newest version this morning, and now it doesn't work correctly.

Now getting the same errors on my laptop as well as my PC so not a Windows 11 issue, suspect it's the downloads failing as not tested by RealNetworks, as my clock is auto-synced with Microsoft in the OS, heres my screenshots:

I'm now encountering the same errors on both my laptop and PC, so it's not a Windows 11 issue. I suspect the downloads are failing because they haven’t been tested by RealNetworks. My system clock is auto-synced with Microsoft, which might be contributing to the issue. I've attached my screenshots for reference. Visit this site for more details: ff advance0

I'm thinking their Microsoft certificate has expired.

I'm experiencing the same errors on both my laptop and PC, which rules out a Windows 11 issue. It seems like the downloads are failing possibly due to the fact that they haven't been tested by RealNetworks. Since my system clock is auto-synced with Microsoft, that might be playing a role in causing the problem. I’ve included screenshots for better context, and I would appreciate any insights or suggestions. Visit this site: download
