MP3 files went missing
As a heads up, I don't use this account to download music or use RealPlayer at all. I never signed into my account to use it.
So, yesterday I download about thirty new songs that I forgot to immediately transfer to my MP3 player. This morning I went to transfer those files, only to not only find them missing, but my entire MP3 collection I have stored in my computer. These are all music files I converted into MP3 after downloading the videos using RealPlayer. None of the videos themselves are missing, just the MP3 songs (the entire folder, not just the music files within them).
They were under the RealPlayer folder under My Videos. At one point, all my MP3 files would go into my Music folder, not under the RealPlayer folders; those MP3 files are still there, so it's just the ones under the RealPlayer folder that were affected.
Can anyone explain to me what happened? I looked into the "Files missing from library" support page and did as it described, but I didn't get my music back, the only results I got were really old sound effects that I'm pretty sure I already had. It's frustrating enough that my entire music collection went missing, but at least already had them transferred into my MP3; the really frustrating part is those 30 new songs I'd downloaded but hadn't transferred yet. I've already looked in all my folders in my computer; I didn't find anything.
