scammers using your phone #
Some bozo from India wanted to take control of my computer to complete a financial transaction. I paid $24.99 in January for what I thought was rp+ I can't burn a dvd so there's a box in the corner saying to upgrade to + I'm on there and it shows $39.99. OK, I'm trying to pay you the other $15.00 I owe you but it won't let me continue. I left a message then called today. While this yahoo was messing around I typed in "is realplayer support a scam" That's why I'm writing. Whoever this was he tried doing the same thing as other scammers, going down a black list then stops where it says that realplayer is corrupted. Long story short he gives me another # supposedly for a different department. The scam goes like this, adware, spyware, malware. They need to remove this and fix drivers......about $199.00. How about you send me an e-mail and we'll take care of the money issue. Don't send me to that 866 or 877 # I tried burning with my computer tech's password then it popped up a box saying I don't have the necessary user permissions, click ok then I need to restart and around and around I go. I've been using you guys for 10+ years. There was an issue of being charged again for what's supposed to be a 1 time thing. I could burn but now I can't. Now the private section said to upgrade now. Besides that, your video quality in the private section is HORRIBLE, even using hd video's. If my rp is corrupted can't I just reinstall it? To handle this money part mail me at my mail and I'll send the cc # That way I'll have a record of who's mailing me. Can we please get this fixed, like today? Dennis Foley denxxx@gmail.com

First off, we don't charge our customers for technical support. I am sorry that you had to reach a wrong company that is fraudulently representing RealNetworks. I have passed on the information to our legal team. In the meanwhile, I looked up your account and see that you subscribed to RealTimes Premium (Annual) plan. You don't have to pay an extra $15 for the DVD to work. It is already built into the plan you subscribed to.
If you want to take this offline, I will email you separately. Please let me know.
