Realplayer deleted after upgrade from version 16 to 18

Hello: I paid $39 for the licensed version of Realplayer about 6 months ago and last week it kept displaying upgrade messages for Realplayer 18. When I selected this the entire previous version was deleted from my PC. Even if I purchase a new license now for version 18 I have lost all my music playlists.

  I see that you have an active purchase of RealPlayer Plus v.18.

  If you upgraded installed RealPlayer v.18 from RealPlayer v.16, all of your playlists will move to the new version. However, if you uninstalled RealPlayer v.16 and installed RealPlayer v.18, the playlists will need to be recreated.

  Can you please let me know how you installed RealPlayer v.18?
