When I try to Burn Video I get Message NO DVD

I get message No DVD and Yet a DVD is in Computer for Burning

  This may happen if you have multiple DVD drives on your computer. Do you? If yes, RealPlayer is probably looking at the wrong drive. You can make changes to it in the Preferences.

  1. Open RealPlayer 

  2. Click the RealPlayer logo on the top left corner and click Preferences

  3. Expand CD and click CD Burner

  4. Choose the correct DVD Drive under "Defaut Recordable Drive"

  I have just 1 drive on my laptop yet I get the no dvd or disk in the drive isn't a dvd?

  Jimmy,

  If your burn tab says there is no DVD or disk in it, it is quite possible something is not right with your DVD drive. Can you please confirm if you are able to play a CD/DVD using an alternate program like Windows Media Player?

  If you are able to playback then the problem is not with the playback but the burner it self. Anyway, please confirm.
