Realplayer converter

I have the latest version of Realplayer 18 on my laptop running Windows 10. I have downloaded a video from YouTube in a webm format. When I try to convert it to Mp4 format, a message says "cannot convert". I have a second laptop running Window 7 also with the same version of Realplayer 18. When I download the same video from YouTube it downloads in an Mp4 format.

What do I need to do the get the converter working, and why does one computer download the same YouTube video in a webm format, and the other computer in an Mp4 format.

  We don't control the file format provided by YouTube. They may sometimes play a MP4 file or a WebM file. 

  Installing the K-Lite codec pack often helps to fix issues related to playback and convert. You can install it from the link below:

  http://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_mega.htm

  After installing the codec, restart your computer and try converting the videos again.

  I downloaded the K-Lite pack and found two realplayer drivers needed updating. Updated both of these and rebooted but still same problem, still cannot convert a webm video from my realplayer library into MP4 format. I can convert the webm video into a realvideo (rv) format and can burn this to a DVD. In the past I have been able to convert all webm videos to MP4, but lately am unable to do so. There must be some instruction in the Realplayer program that is preventing me from converting webm to MP4.
