RPSystray is used for notifications and also for a function within RealPlayer called "Watched folders". This is found under Preferences and it looks for media files being added to the "Watched folders".

To know why the CPU usage is that high constantly, would you be able to send us a dump file? Here are instructions to gather the dump file.

    1. When the CPU usage is running high, Open Task Bar

    2. Under Background processes, look for RealPlayer with RealTimes (32 bit), right click and click on "Create dump file"

    3. A file named "rpsystray.DMP" will be created in your Temp folder

    4. Please send us the dump file.

Here are instructions to send the dump file.

    1. Go to https://tobor2.prognet.com/cgi-bin/incoming.cgi
    2. You will see instructions for attaching the file. Choose the file you want to send us.
    3. In the "to" section, enter "gsharma".
    4. In the box below, enter your email address and/or ticket number, along with a brief note about the issue (just a sentence is fine).
    5. Click Send.

We will review the file(s). If for some reason we have difficulty receiving the file, we will let you know.

Thank you for sending us the dump file. Our engineering team took a look at it and it appears that you have a folder named "Temp" in your "Downloads" folder. This (Downloads folder) is part of your Watched folders and this sub folder called "Temp" is causing the high CPU usage as RealPlayer is importing the contents in this folder.

Can you remove this from your Watched folders and see how the CPU usage is?

Removed the TEMP & TEMP2 directories (TEMP had 3+GB in it!) and the problem went away.  Thanks for your help.
