Invalid setup configuration
I have been trying to update my realplayer but I get a Invalid setup configuration error. After several months and my tries and against my better judgement I did an uninstall and tried to reinstall the software. I can't install the software at 50% of the installation I get a invalid setup configuration error. The installation gives you the appearance and acknowledges the software is installed after you click OK to the error. But the software does not get installed. I have two SSDs and all my data is installed on the D drive. I've did everything suggested online but doesn't solve the problem. I even deleted all entries for realplayer out of the registry and this doesn't solve the problem. I tried installed the program on my d drive but I get the same problem. Anybody have any ideas.

Please follow these instructions to install RealPlayer.
1. Go to Control Panel and uninstall RealPlayer.
2. Go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed and download and run the installer.
3. Once the Fixit program opens, click Next.
4. Select Uninstalling.
5. You will see a list of programs installed. Scroll down and look for "Video Downloader". Select that and click Next and click on "Yes, try uninstall". This will remove the application.
6. Run the Fixit program once again. (You will need to run this program a few times)
7. Follow steps 4 and remove the following programs (in the said order)
a. RealUpdgrade 1.1
b. RealDownloader
c. RealDownloader
Note: You have to run Fixit each time you want to uninstall these applications.
8. Delete Real & RealNetworks folders from
a. C:\Program Files (x86)
b. C:\Programdata
c. C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming
d. C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\LocalOnce you have uninstalled all of them and deleted the folders, restart your computer. Download RealPlayer from www.real.com. Ideally, this should install properly.
Please do let us know how it goes.

I've tried to follow everything as described below but with the fixit program there wasn't anything listed as video to uninstall. Everything associated with real has been deleted. As I said before when I try to install the program it gets to 50% and I get a "Invalid Setup Configuration" error. After I click on "OK" the installation appears to continue along with the programs' installation. It ends with the final screen stating "Success! RealPlayer is fully installed: and to click on start Realplayer to start application. But the program will not run because the program is not installed.
My system is windows 10 pro, running two languages; English and German. I have two SSDs, with windows using the D drive for all application files (ie. pictures, video, documents, etc) If you need additional specification let me know.
