Downloader Stops in the middle of the download

While downloading a video, the RealDownloader stops in the middle of the download. I have seen other posts that state that something went wrong with the RealPlayer download and to uninstall it and reinstall it and I have done this several times and the issue continues.

While downloading the video, not only does the download speed go from 5.0 mbps to .27 mbps and then it stops and then it states that the download is complete when it isn't.

I would really like to know what is going on.

  A couple of things might be going on. 

  1) Something must have gone wrong with RealPlayer installation

  To resolve your issue, please "over-install" RealPlayer. Over-install simply means installing RealPlayer over the existing RealPlayer. When you go through the installation process, you will be prompted that RealPlayer is already installed, simply proceed with the installation when prompted.

  2) Your Internet Speed is slower

  Please go to www.speedtest.net and check your Internet Speed. Please look at your Upload and Download speeds and let us know what the results are.
