Transferring security key
I have a library of music that I had transferred from an older computers hard drive when a mother board failure had occurred. The library consists of music ripped from cds, and the files are in an rmx format. Evidently I had the security option enabled to encrypt the music upon ripping it. I have the contents of the old programfiles\real\ directory. The player only give the options to back up and restore the key from floppy. I do not have an operational floppy drive, and unsure if I could get the old program to run from the backed up directory. Is there a certain file in that directory that I could just copy from the old directory to the new program installation to give me access to my library? I examined the keys.dat thinking this was the file I needed, but found it to contain the exact same key, and thus this must by used for some other purpose.
Where is the security key stored? Is it in a file, or is it instead somewhere else like the registry hive?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

That article is about a music store where tracks where purchased.
As stated in my original post, all of my tracks are from a library of ripped music that came from physical CDs, none of them where purchased in any sort of online music store, either RealPlayer Music store or Rhapsody.
Is there anyone that can tell me where I can manually find the encryption keys, or am I to continue to see If I can get the old software install to run and then try to find a suitable virtual floppy drive?

Sorry about the confusion. I am not sure which version you had previously but as far as our RealPlayer versions go, MP3 files are saved without any encryption if the CD allows. The screenshot below is the setting that allows this to happen and it has been in existence for over 10 years now.
Would you know which version you previously had?
