Realplayer no longer allowing me to connect to my .srt file.
Until recently, when I played a video in Realplayer with a related sub-title file, the subtitles automatically showed at the appropriate stages in the viewing. This was achieved by use of a button provided for the purpose. This button is no longer available even thought the Preferences/Content/Accessibility options to 'use supplemental text capturing when available' AND 'Use descriptive audio when available' are both checked as shown below. What am I doing wrong, please?

The subtitles section you see here is for DVD playback to be precise. If your video has subtitles embedded, the subtitles will show up automatically. RealPlayer still doesn't support .SRT files though it is in the pipe line.
Therefore, can you please confirm how the files were being played previously?

We see an active RealPlayer Plus under your email address. You will need to sign into RealPlayer to activate your Plus features.
If you still have issues, please start a new post and we can take it from there. Since your query has nothing to do with subtitles, request you to do so.

Oh dear. I have a number of alternative ways of watch my vidoes and I was certain I had set my default to Realplayer and that was where my .srt files were working. In light of your comments, I can only assume that somehow the default did not kick in originally but now has - hence the apparent problem. However delighted to learn that this is in the pipeline and I will patiently await developments.
