Unable To Download Again
After about 1700 hours MST today (10-21-25) everything I try to download from YouTube is unavailable. Earlier in the day it was working fine. Audio downloads, Windows 11 Pro, latest version of Chrome.

I'm the same - tried following the Downloader update instructions but mine says I have the latest version which is 24. Tried checking if you can force an update but not available. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still only version 24. Stumped at present.

Looks like Youtube made another software update that has disabled the Downloader. I hope the developers will see these posts when they come into work in the morning.

Can you please provide a few sample URLs so we can test it in-house?
P.S If you have any VPN services enabled, please disconnect it.

I tried both CHROM and EDGE browser on Windows 11 PC without any VPN. Unable to Download this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/_0iiOagHPqg?si=CHH8tOPKGqoCPzUS

My files are downloading, but the problem is the download status bar is always at the end and shows you 0 of 0 with 0 mps until it changes to a status of importing file. The status bar always showed the status before while it was downloading. Can you fix that? Thanks.0

Here we go again. This seems to be a monthly occurrence. I get the drop down tab to download video. You pressed the download video button. It starts the status bar for waiting to download. After awhile it comes back and states "UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD".

For the love of Pete, please do something about this! Some days, I can download one or two videos, or audios, and then I get the Unable to download message. Other days, I can download several. Lately, none. When will this be fixed? What a waste of money, if you can't fix it. I've tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Same result. There is no update for 24. It says I'm already up to date.

I'm having the same problem. YouTube's new update is stopping me from using the downloader. Please get this fixed quickly.

Realnetowrks - Thank you removing VPN has worked and can download again. Installed VPN after a friends business bank accoount had £50k removed. Will try and remeber to turn VPN off in future when I find clips I want to download. Regards Jeremy.
