I received the popup notice that RealPlayer 25 is now available.  I clicked on the popup to proceed with the update and the notice further clarified that my "plus" status does not pass up to version 25 but that I am eligible for a 60% or 66% discount.  So I accepted the offer and put in my credit info.  The dialog indicated that my information was incorrect so I reentered it. It failed to refresh the screen or proceed further.   When I closed this popup, another popup appeared advising me that RealPlayer 25 is now available and proceeded to run the update.  Then another popup occurred indicating that the upgrade to plus status requires $39.99.  One of these is a scam I I am inclined to believe it was the first one.  I froze my credit card immediately.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Could this be a valid discount offer gone wrong?
